After we reviewed “IndieGogo Offers Up Advice on How to Maximize crowdfunding Campaigns with InDemand Feature,” it’s safe to suggest that the famous crowdfunding platform can offer some good tips to those looking to succeed utilizing their feature.
Instead of simply focusing on the main part of the campaign, where the company behind it does everything necessary to raise funds for their project – the crew at Indiegogo wants to be sure that these businesses continue raising money even after their campaigns have ended.
With the InDemand feature developed on Indiegogo, campaigners have the ability to continue raising funds for their businesses, as well as build a community, keep up communication, manage orders and more.
Most companies or businesses that run a campaign must find a new place to ‘call home’ once the campaign is over, but with the InDemand feature, these individuals have the option to continue running with their plans from the page they’ve already created. It gives them a chance to keep their page live while doing what is necessary to retain their community-base and build a stronger and larger network.
Several projects that have become successful through the InDemand way include Plexidrone, Geek Pulse and Bluesmart. Do you think the InDemand feature is a benefit for those trying to succeed once the campaign is ended?

Even though crowdfunding is so popular and continues to evolve, running the perfect campaign is nowhere near as easy as it may seem. Crowdfunders put a lot of work not only into their projects, but into their campaigns, because they’re such a vital part of the process. The truth is, you aren’t going to get funding from anyone if your campaign isn’t exactly the way it should be to retain investors.
With that in mind, we all know how important those little tricks and pieces of advice can be! A few successful campaign organizers decided to share some of their tips to discuss the ways that their methods have been successful.
One of the organizers made sure to remind campaigners not to focus only on the product. It can be easy to deter from the actual campaign and begin advertising, so try to remember the key points of the project: who it’s for, why they need it and what effect it will have on them. Remember that your brand is just as important as a quality product.
Another helpful tip is the reminder that the videos on your page are there for a reason! You only have the investor’s attention for the length of your video – approximately three to five minutes – so make it worth their time! Anything that can grab them by the shirt and rattle their world is going to give them a good reason to follow your brand.
Other important tips in the article included connecting with the audience through social media on a deeper level beyond simply marketing your product, as well as creating a strategy that is going to give you enough time to design the campaign you need to succeed.
