Amazon constantly takes the world by surprise when they decide to launch something new, and for companies that utilize the benefits of crowdfunding, their next venture is something to be remembered.

Startup founders may face an easier way of selling their products through Amazon’s new Launchpad store. The store will provide a place for new startups to launch their products as well as give them support with marketing and distribution – which can be some of the hardest aspects of running a startup. The store has already began marketing and selling over 200 products, including a Soma Sustainable Pitcher and Plant-Based Water Filter.

It’s still a mystery as to whether or not this will benefit startup founders. Could it be their solution to finally hitting their target audience on a completely different playing field than simply using crowdfunding platforms, or will there still be as much work to hype up the products to the consumer?
