Startup companies face quite a few challenges. One of these relates to raising funds to help their business grow to the next level. Far too many modern business founders are turning to angel investors and VC to get the capital they need, without really putting in the work required to make a business successful. As a result, the first round of funding is fairly easy to secure, with the subsequent ones becoming more and more difficult. All because the founders don’t want to put in the work. Gary Vee discusses this more in depth in is article, “Why You Shouldn’t Take VC Money.”

Along the same lines of financing for startup businesses, Gary Vee also created a video this week that provides insight for startup founders in regard to “The Issues with “Passive Income.” Two of the biggest challenges startup companies face is getting the initial capital necessary to get the business off the ground and then find an effective and long-term source of income.

Some of the other hot topics from Gary Vee this week include the article, “My Jets Game is Your Netflix,” which illustrates how it is okay to take time off for yourself. While you can spend all your time watching football or Netflix, for that matter, and then complain of not being successful, it is essential to take some time to completely ‘check out.’ This does not mean you don’t participate in the ‘hustle’ but rather that you find a balance that works for you.

And of course, you can enjoy the “#Ask Gary Vee Episode 133” where Gary Vee answers your questions. Gary Vee is full of information that can be invaluable for all business owners and that offers insight you may not have even imagined.
